I am very pleased with this sugar bowl. The lid is substantial enough to withstand long term use. The bowl is very pretty with beautiful patina on the edges. The only disappointing part about this item is the color. Mine is more of a pale robin's egg blue than a green shade. It is a pretty color, just not what I had expected.
